Shipping & Return Policy
Shipping:
We are a UK based company and ship from the UK. All orders are shipped the same day provided you order before midday. We send orders via Royal Mail First Class or Second Class depending on what you pay for. If you have qualified for free shipping your order will be sent via Royal Mail Second Class.
Refunds:
We offer a full refund for undelivered or damaged items as described below.
If your order is eligible for a refund, you need to contact us within 14 days of delivery.
Undelivered Items:
Typical delivery rates for the UK are mentioned in every product page. Delivery rates vary from country to country and are available to you upon request for your particular country of interest. Due to reasons we cannot control and associated with shipping carriers, in rare occasions delivery can take up to 15 days more than the typical delivery rates.
If your order is not delivered within the above time frame, your order is considered undelivered and you are eligible for a full refund.
Please mind that if you provide a wrong, incomplete or invalid address, your order is not eligible for a refund.
Returns Policy:
Items that arrive defective are eligible for a full refund.
Refunds for payments that were made by card might take 5-10 working days since the refund is placed. Refunds for payments that were made by PayPal typically are processed within 24 hours since the refund is placed.
If you don’t receive your refund within the above specified time frames then follow the steps:
1. Check your account again
2. Contact the bank or other institution that issued your card or PayPal depending on the payment method you used
3. If your case is not resolved after taking steps 1 and 2, please contact us at sales@theoilscompany.co.uk
Sale items:
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items are not eligible for a refund. It is in our discretion whether we will process a refund, full of partial, for a sale item and the judgement is made case by case
For defective or damaged products, please contact us at the customer service number below to arrange a refund or exchange.
Cancellation:
Once the order is processed and shipped, we are not able to cancel it.
If you contact us shortly after your order is placed to request a cancellation and we haven’t processed it yet, then we will cancel your order and refund you. A £5 cancellation fee will be kept due to transaction fees involved.
